Comrade Asgar Ali

Some eighty years ago, Ambedkar had warned us 'if Hindu Raj becomes a fact, it will, no doubt, be the greatest calamity for this country' and he could not have been more prophetic.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Com. Asgar Ali of Katihar (Bihar). He breathed his last in PMCH, Patna on 28 March. He was suffering from a serious liver ailment for some time. Comrade Asgar Ali was a veteran leader of CPIML in Katihar region of Bihar. He was dear to the toiling masses across communities, adivasis in particular. His contribution in building the party and the movement will be a source of inspiration for the younger comrades.

Red Salute to Comrade Asgar Ali!
