CPIML has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Jitan Sahani, the 70-year-old father of Vikasheel Insan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani in Darbhanga district in Bihar on July 16th. The party noted that the murder points towards the crumbling law and order situation in Bihar with criminal have embolden under Nitish-BJP regime.
A CPIML team led by General Secretary Com. Dipankar Bhattacharya meet VIP leader Mukesh Sahani on July 17 at his ancestral home in Afzala village of Biraul block in Darbhanga to express shock and condolences over his father's brutal murder. Comrades Dhirendra Jha, MP from Ara Sudama Prasad, MLC Shashi Yadav and Darbhanga District Secretary Vaidyanath Yadav and many local comrades were also present.
Comrade Dipankar said the it’s not just the bridges, the governance in the state has also collapsed. He added that administration must immediately take steps to ensure the guilty to justice without delay.
