UNORGANIZED Workers Association (AIIMS, Phulwarisharif, Patna) and AICCTU demanded from the Bihar and the Central governments that the two contract workers agencies CHS and Sampurna at AIIMS Patna should be blacklisted. These companies are flouting labor laws, adopting an insulting an autocratic attitude and are not paying due wages. These agencies have recently forcibly extorted money from about 800 workers. The union has demanded the arrest without delay of CHS Senior Manager Piyush Gautam, Supervisor Satyendra Singh, and AIIMS Sanitary Inspector Rajiv Singh Chandel, legal action against them, and return of the extorted amounts to the workers.
