First Andhra Pradesh Conference of AISA at Kadapa

Some eighty years ago, Ambedkar had warned us 'if Hindu Raj becomes a fact, it will, no doubt, be the greatest calamity for this country' and he could not have been more prophetic.

ON 21 October, the first Andhra Pradesh conference of AISA was held in Kadapa town. A rally and public meeting held with a participation of 500 students was followed by a delegates session in which 85 delegates participated. A state committee of 21 members was elected by the conference.

AISA National President Sandeep Saurav attended and addressed the Conference, saluting the inspiring memory of Rohit Vemula and the ongoing student struggles against the fascist and corporate assault on education.

The Conference elected Comrade Obelesu as Secretary and Comrade Nagaraju as President.
