On 10th November 2023, at 12.30, Comrade Umed Lal Gope passed away at his residence in Hesalong, Jharkhand. Comrade Umed Lal Gope was suffering from a serious illness for a long time. A member of the party since 1985-86, he was a committed party cadre and played an important role in Jan Sanskriti Manch for a long time. He played an crucial role in the mass movement and resistance struggle against the Ghutuwa firing incident and Religdajan massacre of 1988. With his death, the party suffered an irreparable loss. His contribution to the revolutionary struggle will always be remembered.
